L’ENTR\u00c9E, the new organization that will be acting as a property owner to offer affordable housing in the Coaticook region, has appointed its very first Board of Directors.<\/p>\n
This took place at the group\u2019s founding general meeting, held on Tuesday evening, January 30, and attended by almost forty people.<\/p>\n
At this meeting, the project partners\u2014the MRC de Coaticook, the Corporation de d\u00e9veloppement communautaire (CDC) de la MRC de Coaticook and the Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 d’aide au d\u00e9veloppement de la collectivit\u00e9 (SADC) de la r\u00e9gion de Coaticook\u2014were presented, and the by-laws approved.<\/p>\n
Three positions on the Board of Directors were filled, by Michel-Henri Goyette (MRC), \u00c9milie Drouin (CDC) and Joanne Beaudin (SADC), all founding members of L\u2019ENTR\u00c9E. Raynald Drolet, Luce Paradis, Martine Lebel and Maude Sirois also took up their seats.<\/p>\n
The group will be supported by the F\u00e9d\u00e9ration r\u00e9gionale des OBSL en habitation de la Mont\u00e9r\u00e9gie et de l’Estrie. This organization, which boasts extensive experience in the sector, will be supporting the team in launching the project and managing future properties. FROHME\u2019s Director of Special Projects was on hand to preside over L\u2019ENTR\u00c9E\u2019s first general meeting. Fran\u00e7ois Gigu\u00e8re, General Manager of SOLIDES in Ch\u00e2teauguay, was also in attendance.
\nThis organization inspired the Coaticook committee to establish the local group.<\/p>\n
