As part of the new 2024-2029 agreement with Canada Economic Development (CED), the SADC de la r\u00e9gion de Coaticook had to review its strategic planning.
\nTo do so, it enlisted the help of Niska. The five-stage process began in December 2023 and involved the team, the Board of Directors and partners. The wide-ranging topics included organizational identity, the current situation, perceptions of the organization, priority issues and strategic positioning.<\/p>\n
The SADC is actively engaged in developing projects to change ways of doing things and find solutions to the issues facing our region, and the SADC\u2019s new strategic planning attests to this commitment. The five key guidelines are as follows:<\/p>\n
Adopt a discourse that brings together the area\u2019s social and economic concerns, both to express the SADC\u2019s mission and to convey a \u201csocio-economic\u201d vision of the Coaticook region\u2019s development.<\/p>\n
Take ownership of the ESG approach in order to suggest its adoption by companies and regional partners.<\/p>\n
Prioritize investments and support for the development and appeal of village centres.<\/p>\n
Get involved in meaningful collective projects that are key for the region.<\/p>\n
Adapt our service offering and establish investment priorities to better serve the long-term viability of our businesses.<\/p>\n
