Last April 3 marked the 27th local Gala of the D\u00e9fi OSEntreprendre de la r\u00e9gion de Coaticook, organized in partnership with the Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 d’aide au d\u00e9veloppement de la collectivit\u00e9 (SADC) de la r\u00e9gion de Coaticook and la MRC de Coaticook. The gala, in the form of a festive \u201chappy hour\u201d, showcased inspiring entrepreneurs in action.<\/p>\n

The local honorary president of this 27th edition of the D\u00e9fi OSEntreprendre, \u00c9tienne P\u00e9lissier, co-founder of Hop Station microbrewery and previous regional winner of the D\u00e9fi, said he was inspired by the dynamism of the winners and the quality of the entries. Under the theme \u201cThe President Welcomes You\u201d, the gala was held at Hop Station, and \u00c9tienne was able to share his experiences as an entrepreneur.<\/p>\n

During the evening, 6 prizes totalling $2,100 were awarded to the winners – inspiring people whose applications stood out from all those submitted\u00e9<\/p>\n

A winning partnership<\/strong><\/h3>\n

If the D\u00e9fi OSEntreprendre has become a key event in promoting the entrepreneurial spirit on the ground, it’s thanks to the close collaboration between local economic development players, namely the MRC and the SADC. Although the D\u00e9fi is managed by the MRC and the Gala by the SADC, it is important to highlight the participation of the Caisse Desjardins des Verts-Sommets.<\/p>\n
