The agreement between the Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 d\u2019aide au d\u00e9veloppement de la collectivit\u00e9 (SADC) of the Coaticook region, la MRC de Coaticook, and the Fran\u00e7oise-Maurice Library of Coaticook will continue this fall to support French-language learning for the local workforce.<\/p>\n
\u201cThese workshops allow individuals who do not yet master French to express themselves better, to better understand, and above all, to thrive in their workplace and in our beautiful region,\u201d says Patricia Gardner, Settlement and Immigration Officer at the MRC of Coaticook. \u201cThe continuation of this agreement reflects the commitment of our partners to the integration of newcomers.\u201d<\/p>\n
These are the French language workshops that began in early 2025 and will continue until the end of the year. Funding is made possible through a partnership between the SADC and the Caisse Desjardins des Verts-Sommets de l\u2019Estrie<\/em>.<\/p>\n As was the case last year, registered participants will be able to continue learning French in these workshops, which will once again be held at the Fran\u00e7oise-Maurice Library in Coaticook. Funded through this partnership, the workshops are aimed at beginner and intermediate levels. Qualified French-language instructors will once again lead the workshops and ensure their preparation.<\/p>\n The workshops, each lasting two hours, will begin on September 23 and will be held every Tuesday evening at either 4:30 p.m. or 6:30 p.m. You can register online (here<\/a>) or by contacting Patricia Gardner by email or phone.
