Coaticook, March 26, 2026 \u2013 <\/strong>Tonight marked the 28th local D\u00e9fi OSEntreprendre Gala in the MRC of Coaticook, presented by the Caisse Desjardins des Verts-Sommets de l\u2019Estrie and organized in partnership with the Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 d\u2019aide au d\u00e9veloppement de la collectivit\u00e9 (SADC) of the Coaticook region and the MRC of Coaticook. The gala, held as a festive happy hour, showcased inspiring businesses that are bold and daring.<\/p>\n

During the event, five awards totaling $3,100 in prize money were presented to the winners, along with several other prizes, including increased visibility. These inspiring individuals stood out among all the nominees (see attached list). The winning companies and those nominated in the R\u00e9ussite Inc. category will proceed directly to the Eastern Townships Gala, taking place later this spring.<\/p>\n

A winning partnership<\/strong><\/h3>\n

If the D\u00e9fi OSEntreprendre has become an essential tool for fostering entrepreneurship in the community, it is thanks to the close collaboration between local economic development stakeholders, namely the MRC and the SADC. Although the D\u00e9fi is led by these organizations, it is important to highlight the significant contribution of the Caisse Desjardins des Verts-Sommets de l\u2019Estrie. Special thanks to Le Progr\u00e8s, Therrien Couture Joli-C\u0153ur and Genevi\u00e8ve H\u00e9bert, without whom the event would not have been such a great success: thank you for supporting our SMEs.<\/p>\n

About the D\u00e9fi OSEntreprendre<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The main initiative of OSEntreprendre, the D\u00e9fi OSEntreprendre, is a major Quebec-wide movement that annually showcases the entrepreneurial initiatives of tens of thousands of people. It is implemented and takes root at the local, regional, and national levels thanks to more than 300 local coordinators across Quebec\u2019s 17 regions, who work to highlight projects originating from their communities.<\/p>\n
