Video clips on the theme of “Together every day”

The Coaticook region is taking advantage of the National Living Together Day to announce the launch of a series of five video segments highlighting cultural diversity and the concrete contribution of immigrants to the vitality of our region. The first video will be released on January 21 on social media and the Région de Coaticook website, followed by one video per week.

Entitled “Together Every Day”, this initiative aims to illustrate the contribution of immigrants in their workplaces. Filmed directly in the workplaces where they work, the videos show how these new citizens actively contribute to the efficiency of local businesses and organizations, while fully integrating into the community.

The series aims to promote a positive and unifying message about cultural diversity. Although the workplace is often the first point of entry for these immigrants, they quickly integrate into community life thanks to the openness of the region’s citizens. Together, in our daily lives, we make our region a welcoming, humane, and inclusive place.

A project made possible thanks to the commitment of our partners

Funding is made possible through a partnership between the SADC de la région de Coaticook and the Caisse Desjardins des Verts-Sommets de l’Estrie. We would also like to highlight the involvement of the MRC de Coaticook, the Chambre de commerce et d’industrie de la région de Coaticook, and Place aux jeunes, who also participated in the realization of this project. We would also like to thank Joëlle, from the local company Leiffet Photo, who joined us in this project to produce the video clips.
