Registration for the Défi OSEntreprendre is officially open to the entrepreneurial community of the Coaticook RCM.
Entrepreneurs have until Wednesday, March 11, at 4 p.m. to submit their applications. The eligibility criteria for the Business Creation category are as follows:
- Have not generated any sales before April 1, 2025, but plan to make sales before December 31, 2026;
- Have a Quebec enterprise number (NEQ);
- Have their place of business within Coaticook RCM.
Invitation to the 28th local gala
The Coaticook RCM team and the SADC team for the Coaticook region are proud to announce the Gala OSEntreprendre 2026, which will take place on Thursday, March 26, 2026 (time and location to be confirmed). This evening of celebration and recognition will honor:
- The candidates selected for the local Défi OSEntreprendre 2026 who will continue the adventure to the next level;
- The entrepreneurial spirit that drives our region;
- The resilience and determination of entrepreneurs.
This major event marks the culmination of an exceptional entrepreneurial season in the region and honors the outstanding candidates who bring recognition to the Coaticook area.

The Défi OSEntreprendre is a national initiative that has been celebrating and supporting start-up entrepreneurs in Quebec for over 25 years. With more than one million projects supported since its inception, the Défi OSEntreprendre remains one of the largest celebrations of entrepreneurship in Canada. In 2026, the 28th edition of the Défi invites entrepreneurs to take up the challenge and turn their dreams into reality, with the support of regional and national partners.
